Light Diesel Oil & Fuel Oil
Light Diesel Oil (LDO)
Light Diesel Oil is an industrial, non-automotive petroleum fuel blend of distillate and residual fuel oils. Classified as a Class C product, it is a medium-viscosity liquid derived during crude oil distillation — generally heavier and less refined than High-Speed Diesel (HSD), but lighter than heavy fuel oils. Its stable combustion characteristics and moderate viscosity make it well suited to continuous, low-speed industrial duty rather than high-revolution automotive use.
- Industrial boilers, furnaces, and air pre-heaters
- Heat treatment plants in metal forging, galvanizing, and ceramics
- Diesel generator (DG) sets for back-up and primary power
- Low-RPM stationary engines and agricultural pump sets

Fuel Oil
Fuel oil is any liquid petroleum product burned in a furnace or boiler to generate heat, or in an engine to produce power. Derived from crude oil through refining processes, it consists primarily of long-chain hydrocarbons and includes both lighter heating oils and heavier industrial bunker fuels, selected to match the heat-output and handling requirements of the equipment it feeds.
- Process heating for industrial furnaces and boilers
- Power generation and captive electricity plants
- Marine and heavy-equipment bunker fuel
