Bitumen Emulsion

Bitumen emulsion is a liquid mixture of bitumen, water, and an emulsifying agent, used primarily in road construction, maintenance, and waterproofing. Because it requires no heating and can be applied at ambient temperatures, it is a safer, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly alternative to hot bitumen.

Traditionally, bitumen must be heated to extreme temperatures (over 150°C) to become liquid enough for use. Emulsion solves this using three components - Bitumen, the primary binding material; Water, the carrying agent; and an Emulsifier, a surfactant that breaks the bitumen into microscopic droplets so they remain suspended in water without clumping together. The result is a binder that can be stored, transported, and applied cold, then cures on-site through evaporation and coalescence.

AVAILABLE GRADES
RS-1A low-viscosity, water-based emulsion designed to break and cure quickly at ambient temperatures. Used mainly as a tack coat — a thin adhesive layer between older asphalt surfaces and new overlays to prevent structural slippage.
RS-2A high-viscosity, rapid-setting emulsion primarily used for tack coat and surface dressing.
MSA water-based asphalt binder formulated for premix applications, offering extended working time to thoroughly coat aggregates. Used for premix carpets, pothole patching, penetration macadam, and road repair works.
SS-1Primarily used as a prime coat for granular bases (WMM/WBM) to penetrate, bind loose aggregates, and waterproof the surface.
SS-2Used mainly for road maintenance — slurry seals, fog seals, and premix seal coats — to extend pavement life and prevent water ingress.
Cold MixA pre-blended asphalt repair material combining bitumen and water, for quick ambient-temperature patching of road carpeting, potholes, utility cuts, and pavement cracks — no heavy heating machinery needed. Can be applied in damp, cooler conditions where traditional hot mix fails.
All in-OneA patented, tailor-made cold mix binder (bitumen emulsion) used for road construction and pavement maintenance.
